Ridgemont Resources, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Estimator (Mechanical/Civil/Structural) to join our Houston-area team for large-scale EPC and design-build projects.

The role emphasizes piping and mechanical systems, with a strong focus on accurate cost estimation and data center portfolios. You will lead takeoffs, price development, bid strategy, and risk analysis while collaborating with project teams to ensure competitive, reliable estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years experience in lieu of degree.
• 10+ years estimating industrial construction, with a strong focus on mechanical/piping scopes.
• Strong working knowledge of civil and structural construction methods and cost drivers.
• Advanced proficiency with Trimble Accubid and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, isometrics, civil drawings, and structural plans.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience supporting EPC or design-build project delivery models, preferred.
• Minimal travel for pre-bid site visits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical construction scopes, emphasizing piping and mechanical systems.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment pricing.
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents for accuracy.

• Support bid reviews, estimate reconciliations, and post-bid handoff meetings.

About this Role

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Estimator (Mechanical/Civil/Structural) to join our team in Houston, TX to support a growing portfolio of large-scale construction projects, primarily within the rapidly expanding data center market. Additional projects span the chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, and other heavy industrial sectors.

The Senior Estimator will play a key role in developing accurate, competitive cost estimates for EPC and design-build projects. This position requires a deep understanding of industrial construction methods, material takeoffs, labor productivity, and cost controls.

What You'll Do

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, structural, and mechanical construction scopes, with primary emphasis on piping and mechanical systems
• Perform quantity takeoffs and develop labor, material, and equipment pricing using Trimble Accubid and Microsoft Excel
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope documents to ensure accurate and complete estimates
