Job summary

All American Shutters & Glass, based in Riviera Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead major cost estimates and oversee planning, development, negotiation, and contract execution of projects. The role requires strong communication, collaboration, and attention to detail to drive continuous improvement and support a high-performing culture.

You will determine total project costs, prepare estimates, manage pre-bid submissions, and report progress to the Executive Team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as an estimator in the window industry.
• Excellent time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and vendor sourcing abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent proposal writing and oral presentation skills.
• Advanced computer skills and competency with Netsuite and builder portals.

Responsibilities

• Determining the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labor for projects.
• Researching documentation and analyzing specifications.
• Preparing estimates for planning, organizing, and scheduling project work.
• Managing pre-qualification and pre-bid submissions.
• Preparing estimates to meet project goals, such as setting work hours, sequencing tasks, obtaining materials, and securing the best deals with vendors and technicians.
• Ensuring that relevant documents and budgets are submitted before a bid deadline.
• Regularly reporting to the Executive Team and keeping clients updated on the project status.
• Formulating contingency plans and effectively managing risks that might impact cost and time estimates.
• Keeping track of the latest estimating technology and industry-related techniques.
• Collaborating with other teams, conducting site visits, and providing other services, like bid deliveries, when required.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
