Job summary

Huckeye Health Services LLC seeks an Epic-focused professional to translate department needs into actionable technical solutions within the Epic environment. You will support development and complex problem solving across Epic and related applications.

The role requires at least 4 years in an Epic workspace, Epic Certification, and experience working with an emergency department to optimize workflows and system performance in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience in a large, corporate systems development and implementation in Healthcare MIS or similar.
• Experience with Epic or other Health Information Systems is required.
• Emergency department experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translates Epic system needs into technical solutions.
• Performs project reviews and process walkthroughs with clinical and business stakeholders to improve user productivity and service levels.
• Provides technical knowledge in Epic support and other applications and operating systems.
• Advocates for standards in development, support and information management within and outside IS.

Job description

• Translates user and department Epic system needs into technical solutions.
• Performs project reviews and process walk throughs incorporating technical, clinical and business solutions that will enhance user user productivity and department service levels.
• Responsible for providing technical knowledge in the support of Epic as well as other software applications and operating systems.
• Acts as an advocate for setting and enforcing technical development, application support and information management standards within and outside of the Information Systems Department.
• Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and techniques in supporting development projects and complex problem-solving efforts involving Epic and other applications.

Must-Haves:

• EPIC ASAP Certification, if not Clindoc or Ambulatory certifications as a backup
• Someone with experience working with an emergency department
• At least 4 years of experience in an Epic Application workspace

Minimum Qualifications

Licenses/Certifications: Epic Certification required

Experience/Knowledge/Skills:

• Four (4) years of increasingly responsible experience in a large, corporate systems development and implementation activities in a wide variety of Healthcare Information Systems (MIS) or similarexperience in system analysis, design, building, testing and implementation or a combination of MIS and working knowledge of hospital operations required
• Industry training and increasingly responsible experience with knowledge and skills in a large, complex corporate Information System
• Previous Epic or other Health Information Systems experience required
• Experience in supporting complex problems
