Position Summary

The EPIC Dorothy billing analyst supports home care and hospice billing workflows, focusing on the EPIC modules: Resolute Billing for home care & hospice. The role involves designing, building, testing, and implementing Resolute software applications in collaboration with operational leaders, end users, and IT personnel to ensure workflows are accurate, effective, compliant with regulations, and optimized for patient care.

License/Certification/Registration

• Epic Resolute Hospital Billing Certified (Required)
• Epic Home Health Revenue Cycle & Epic Hospice Revenue Cycle Certified (Preferred)

Education

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in a related area may substitute for a degree.

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in a hospital/clinic healthcare setting supporting an EHR, related applications, and workflows, or equivalent vendor experience.
• Experience with software tools used for application build and data manipulation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of healthcare and/or financial software applications.
• Effective communication skills with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to evaluate business needs against system capabilities and translate requirements into system specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows products (Word, Excel, Access, Project) or equivalents.
• Quick learner of new software tools and products.
• Understanding of the software development cycle.
• Leadership, planning, estimating, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead meetings and manage sub-projects.
• Proficiency with project management tools or methods.
