Privately-owned medical device manufacturer in east Tennessee seeks a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead a team of EE and ME engineers in the development of high-tech electromechanical systems for medical applications.

The role drives development, rigorous testing, safety compliance and production readiness, while mentoring talent, shaping product architecture and fostering a collaborative, low-bureaucracy culture.

Qualifications

• Requires BSEE or MSEE with 10+ years of engineering management experience in medical devices.
• Experience leading EE and ME teams in development of electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with testing, safety compliance and production in medical device industry.

Responsibilities

The Sr. Engineering Manager will support thedevelopment, testing, safety compliance, and production of electromechanical systems for medical applications.

Qualified candidatesMUSThaveBSEE / MSEE degreesalong with10+ years Engineering Management experiencein medical device industry. Designs are for complex, cutting-edge medical devices involving high-power RF amplifiers, high-voltage and high-current power supplies.

This is a highly collaborative environment. Will be a great place for creative Engineering Managers who enjoy product design / development with very little "red tape" or "bureaucracy". It is also important that the Sr. Engineering Manager continue developing and mentoring Engineering talent.
