Job summary

Twitch is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager for the Android Platform to shape the strategic vision and execution of our mobile experiences. You will lead a talented team delivering core tools, services, and frameworks used by builders to innovate on Android.

Based in the US, you can work from San Francisco, Seattle, or New York. You will partner with product, design, and other engineering leaders to ship at scale and elevate performance while mentoring engineers toward growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of mobile software development experience.
• 3+ years as an engineering manager or team lead.
• Experience shipping Android apps at scale.
• Experience hiring and developing remote engineers under your guidance.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, designers and other engineering leaders in cross-functional groups.

• Define insightful KPIs to track team progress, delight customers, and advance operational excellence.
• Communicate your passion and ideas with eloquence, captivating audiences across the organization.

You Have:

• 5+ years of professional mobile software development experience.
• 3+ years as an engineering manager or team lead.
• Experience shipping Android apps at scale.
• Experience hiring and developing remote engineers under your guidance.
• Experience collaborating with product managers, designers and other engineering leaders in cross-functional groups.

• Familiarity with react-native or equivalent mobile web technology
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related, technical discipline

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
