Job summary

Motion Industries seeks a Workday Sr. Engineer to design, build, test and deploy Workday integration solutions across HR domains. You will support existing integrations, resolve complex issues, and produce artifacts for each lifecycle phase.

The role requires deep Workday integration knowledge, security understanding, and collaboration with internal and external resources to deliver reliable deployments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with Workday HCM integrations.
• 2+ years with Workday integration types including EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio.
• 2+ years creating Workday custom reports and calculated fields.
• 2+ years integrating systems with third-party service vendors.
• Good understanding of Workday security.
• Prism Analytics experience is preferred.
• Experience with document transformation, XSLT, XPATH etc.
• Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external resources.
• Ability to motivate and lead through clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, Build, Test, and Deploy Workday Integrations using EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect and Workday Studio.
• Support existing integrations and resolve issues with in-depth Workday expertise.
• Provide documentation and artifacts for each development phase.
• Develop test cases and perform peer code reviews.
• Provide production support and respond to incidents timely.
• Ensure compliance with HRIS standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal/external resources and other teams.
• Other duties as assigned by the HRIS team.

Job description

The Workday Sr. Engineer will be part of a fast-paced environment that is responsible for developing and supporting integration solutions for Workday. This role will be responsible for all phases of the integration lifecycle. The applicant should have experience developing and supporting HCM integrations using the various Workday integration technologies. To be successful in this role, you must have a deep knowledge of Workday's integration technologies, Workday's Implementation methodology, and work closely with internal and external resources.
