Job summary

ScienceLogic is seeking a highly skilled Engineer to design, develop, and scale mission-critical applications in the US. You will build scalable backend services with Python and Celery, create MCP services with FastMCP, and manage Docker Swarm environments on Linux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Celery for distributed task queues.
• Strong knowledge of Docker Swarm and container orchestration.
• Hands-on experience with Couchbase or similar NoSQL databases.
• Advanced understanding of Linux systems administration and performance tuning.
• Proven ability to design horizontally scalable architectures.
• Deep experience with AWS services and cloud-native design principles.

• Design and manage containerized environments using Docker Swarm.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and efficient solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across distributed systems and Linux environments.
