DaVita IT Operations is seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery Engineer to enhance our IT resilience and operational readiness. This role involves ensuring that DaVita’s Business and Digital Continuity plans and Recovery Environments are current and tested regularly. The individual will work closely with IT and Business Leadership to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions supporting fault domain isolation, multi-region reliability, cloud tiering, and elastic compute capabilities, including configuring Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), routing, network security, load balancing, and Cloud DNS. They will also diagnose, monitor, and troubleshoot network operations using Google Cloud Observability and Network Intelligence Center.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
Experience: 7+ years in infrastructure engineering focusing on business continuity, disaster recovery, or cyber resiliency; experience with multi-region architectures and cloud storage/backups.
