Job description

Senior Engineer – AI Platforms The CTO team is looking for a Senior Engineer to design and deliver platform solutions on cloud infrastructure that support the organization's technology and business objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the foundational infrastructure that enables AI capabilities at enterprise scale. You will work closely with internal infrastructure and AI teams to provision, configure, and support the cloud environments and internal applications that power our AI platform. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong architectural thinking, a proven ability to guide and mentor engineering peers, and the capacity to translate complex requirements into robust, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions that align with long-term enterprise strategy.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure solutions that support AI platform capabilities and internal application needs across the CTO organization, while leading architectural discussions and driving alignment across engineering teams to ensure consistency, quality, and strategic fit.
  • Partner with AI and infrastructure teams to provision, configure, and maintain cloud environments on AWS aligned with enterprise architecture standards, serving as a technical lead and primary point of escalation for complex infrastructure challenges and cross-team dependencies.
  • Develop and maintain internal applications and tooling that support infrastructure operations, monitoring, and AI platform workflows, while actively leading code reviews, establishing development best practices, and setting quality benchmarks for the broader engineering team.
  • Interpret technical requirements and architecture specifications to deliver precise, well‑structured infrastructure solutions that meet stakeholder needs, and lead solution design sessions to ensure engineering approaches are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including infrastructure diagrams, configuration standards, and runbooks adhering to established SDLC standards, while championing documentation culture across the team and ensuring knowledge is effectively captured and transferable.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and communicate infrastructure risks, issues, and changes, recommending and driving mitigation strategies to protect system integrity and platform availability, and leading incident response efforts with a focus on speed, transparency, and long‑term remediation.
  • Own defect management end to end, conducting thorough root cause analysis and collaborating with engineering and operations teams to drive timely resolution, while leading retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce recurring issues and elevate team delivery standards.
  • Maintain accurate project task lists and provide regular, proactive status updates to the Manager on progress, milestones, and delivery risks, while supporting team‑level planning efforts, helping to decompose complex initiatives into actionable workstreams, and mentoring junior and mid‑level developers on estimation and delivery practices.
