TIAA’s Retirement CAO organization seeks a Business Management professional to provide strategic support for the assigned business area, analyzing metrics and preparing executive-ready materials to drive business strategies.
You will coordinate budgets, milestones, and governance, lead cross-functional initiatives from planning to execution, and collaborate with senior leaders in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment that values autonomy and impact.
Business Management The Business Management job is responsible for providing strategic support for the assigned business area. While focusing on high level projects, this job executes strategic business management consulting to leaders by analyzing metrics and presentations to support business strategies, driving business management policies and routines, and being the central point of contact for leaders in the execution of business management tasks. This job is considered a subject matter expert in the Business Management area.
Acts as a day-to-day technical/functional expert in assigned area and makes decisions on tactical issues that impact the business. Maintains and supports implementation of policies and procedures in support of the business area strategy. Implements process improvements. Analyzes and reports on area data (financial, headcount, etc.) and performance metrics. Supports business management projects by monitoring and tracking risks, issues and action items. Drives and oversees meeting planning in support of business projects and objectives. Influences the development of new strategic initiatives through tracking budgets and milestones.
University (Degree) Preferred Work Experience 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work Career Level 8IC Required
3+ years of experience in business management, strategy, operations, project management, consulting, or a related field. 3+ years experience creating executive-ready presentations, reports, and communications for senior leaders.
5+ years experience supporting executive reporting, business reviews (BUR), governance, or operational processes. 5+ years experience leading cross-functional projects, events, or strategic initiatives from planning through execution. Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and business outcomes.
This role will serve executive reporting and cadence deliverables across the Retirement CAO organization. Responsibilities may include developing executive-ready materials, conducting analysis, coordinating events and meetings, ad hoc special projects, and supporting business reporting and operational processes, such our BUR cycles. Anticipated Posting End Date: 2026-10-30
Base Pay Range: $95,100/yr - $140,000/yr. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
