Job summary

Magna International, Cosma division, seeks a Quality Engineering leader in Kentucky to ensure compliance with quality standards and to support audits. You will lead multiple or highly complex projects and drive continuous improvement across metal stamping and welding processes.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering, with CQE or Six Sigma certification and substantial leadership experience in quality engineering and program teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering required/preferred.
• ASQ CQE or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification highly preferred.
• Significant experience in metal stamping (tandem, progressive, or transfer presses) and knowledge of welding processes (Resistance Spot Welding, MIG/MAG, or Laser Welding).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Minimum 7 years in a Quality Engineering position supporting new launches and program teams - Ability to work in a confidential and professional manner - Ability to work in a team environment - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to multi-task and have Strong organizational skills - Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Minitab
