Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop electrical design drawings for building systems, including one-line diagrams, load analysis, and panel schedules.
  • Research product data sheets and specify electrical equipment such as switchboards, panels, transformers, and lighting controls.
  • Provide guidance during construction by answering design-related questions and coordinating with architects and contractors.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and engineering teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Master's preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience in MEP Building Systems; PE license required.
  • Experience in project planning, estimating, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Pre-employment drug screening and background checks may be required.
Performance Expectations
  • Conduct performance appraisals and train backup personnel.
  • Ensure project and staff compliance with policies, ISO standards, and budget goals.
  • Manage project tasks, coordinate with teams, and oversee technical design work.
  • Conduct site visits, prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Complete training and adhere to safety and quality standards.
