Responsibilities
  • Lead technical aspects of HV/EHV substation design, including developing single line diagrams and physical layouts.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder communications.
  • Oversee specifications, vendor evaluations, and technical change management.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for clients and project managers, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Lead reviews, support proposal development, and define engineering processes.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in HV/EHV substation design.
  • PE license in the US, willing to review and seal drawings.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, including internationally.
Preferred Characteristics
  • Proficiency with CAD, 3D modeling, and automation tools.
  • Experience with HVDC, FACTS, GIS, AIS, and power system studies.
  • Knowledge of IEEE, ANSI standards, and field testing experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and standards development skills.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary ranges from $131,700 to $219,300 annually, plus performance bonuses. Benefits include health coverage, retirement plans, tuition and parental support, insurance, and paid time off.
