Sr Electrical MEP Inspector (Data Center Construction)

Role overview:

Arcadis, a global leader in sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy, is seeking experienced Sr Electrical MEP Inspectors for full-time, on-site roles in Data Center construction projects. This position involves supporting various phases including pre-construction, construction, and commissioning, with responsibilities such as reviewing submittals, inspecting equipment, managing deficiency logs via Procore, and ensuring quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Review project design basis and specifications, and participate in readiness meetings.
• Create inspection checklists to ensure build quality.
• Lead quality control meetings and review compliance with plans and standards.
• Conduct inspections, document findings, and verify equipment installation.
• Review RFIs, shop drawings, and coordinate inspections.
• Monitor schedule compliance and validate electrical system settings and labels.
• Review test reports and witness inspection processes.
• Report weekly to the Quality Control Engineer and ensure closure of observations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ electrical inspection experience or 10+ years in commercial field inspection.
• Experience with quality assurance in construction projects and familiarity with project management software like Procore.
• Strong knowledge of construction standards, codes, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid Driver's License.
