You will coordinate shop order routings, select vendors, and oversee fabrication from release to delivery, aligning with IPC standards and leveraging Altium Designer.

This role requires 5+ years in engineering or manufacturing, US work authorization, and a related Bachelor's degree.

They will utilize knowledge of - product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards to successfully build and complex assemblies.Responsibilities:Owns the manufacturing process of low volume complex printed circuit board assemblies and wiring harnesses, including internal and external suppliersCreates shop order routings, selects vendors, and oversees fabrication from engineering release to component delivery.Analyzes quotations received, select or recommends suppliers, and schedules deliveriesBuilds and maintains relationships with external vendors and an understanding of their timelines and capabilitiesWorks with vendors and QA to certify vendor capabilities and qualify new processesReviews engineering drawings of complex printed circuit boards and circuit board assemblies.Assists in Manufacturing Readiness Review, Material Review Board, and non-conformance dispositioningRecommends improvements to in-house equipment and processes to improve manufacturing timelinesCommunicates manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processesDevelop inspection and verification process for boards received from suppliersRequired Experience Skills and EducationUS Person5+ years of experience with engineering or manufacturingAbility to read and interpret schematics and layout files in accordance with IPC Standards.Process knowledge of PCB Fabrication, soldering process, PCB cleanliness, staking and conformal coating, harness assembly.Familiarity with Altium Designer or equivalent CAD tool.Bachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar disciplinePreferred ExperienceExperience with aerospace grade low outgassing material for PCB and harnessesExperience with inspection methods (e.g. X-ray, DPA) is a plusExperience with Harness Drawings conforming to IPC-WHMA-A-620/NASA STD 8739.4Experience with IPC 6012Green Belt or Black Belt Certification or experience in LEAN Six SigmaBase Pay Range for:CA applicants is $134,434.00 - $188,207.25Other site ranges may differCulture StatementDon’t meet all desired requirements?
