Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator in Chatsworth, CA, to prepare accurate electrical construction estimates for complex commercial, industrial, healthcare, institutional, and data center projects. This role collaborates with preconstruction, operations, project management, field leadership, and suppliers to drive successful bids.

Responsibilities

• Review plans, specifications, bid documents, contract requirements, and project scope to prepare accurate electrical construction estimates.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low-voltage systems, building controls, and site electrical work.
• Develop comprehensive labor, material, equipment, subcontractor, and vendor pricing for conceptual, budgetary, negotiated, and hard-bid estimates.
• Solicit, review, and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations while identifying scope gaps, risks, constructability concerns, and value engineering opportunities.
• Participate in bid strategy meetings, executive estimate reviews, preconstruction coordination, and project turnover meetings after award.
• Build strong relationships with clients, general contractors, suppliers, subcontractors, project managers, field leaders, and internal teams.
