Job summary

gpac seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager to lead building electrical design on multi-discipline projects in Columbus, OH. You will oversee electrical engineering tasks, budgeting, and client coordination for reliable, compliant systems.

The ideal candidate holds a P.E. license, BS in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit. Hybrid remote options are available as part of a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• P.E. licensure required.
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience.
• AutoCAD & Revit experience.
• Expertise in building electrical design: lighting, power distribution, communications, and fire alarm.

Responsibilities

• Function as lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects, through all phases of process.
• Perform electrical design tasks and calculations for the electrical designs aspects of buildings.
• Coordinating project electrical requirements with each client as well as consultants both in-house and outside.
• Perform code reviews.
• Oversee projects and technicians.
• Establish and maintain electrical fees and provide budgeting for assigned projects.
• Work independently as well as in a multi-discipline team working closely to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports.
