gpac is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager in the Chicago area to lead electrical design efforts for multi-discipline projects. The role requires close collaboration with staff engineers on challenging urban projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to client goals.

Candidates should have a P.E. license, a BS in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• P.E. licensure is required.
• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in the field.
• Expertise in building electrical design including lighting, power distribution, communications, and fire alarm.

Responsibilities

• Function as lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects through all phases.
• Perform electrical design tasks and calculations for building electrical systems.
• Coordinate project electrical requirements with clients and consultants both in-house and external.
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Oversee projects and technicians.
• Establish and maintain electrical fees and provide budgeting for assigned projects.
• Work independently and within a multi-discipline team to develop concepts, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports.
