Job summary
Sierra Nevada Corp in Lone Tree, CO is seeking a Sr Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of electrical/electronic systems for aerospace applications. You will drive innovation, provide technical direction, and ensure successful delivery of high-performance products.
The role requires leadership of a System Integration Lab, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and mentoring of junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Ability to obtain/maintain Top Secret clearance.
- Experience with aircraft electrical/electronic systems.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and design the System Integration Lab for testing of electrical/electronic systems.
- Lead and provide technical guidance for small team of electrical engineers
- Plan and execute day-to-day technical tasking for construction of the System Integration Lab
- Oversee comprehensive testing and validation of electronic systems and components.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, promoting technical growth.
