• Experience with electrical schematic design and PBA layout.
• Experience with DO-160 and lightning design.
• Experience with Mentor Graphics DxDesigner, LTspice, Simulink, MATLAB, PSIM, or equivalent circuit design toolset.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops electrical systems and components for electric aircraft and eVTOL systems.
• Leads and manages electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Generates BOMs for Printed Board Assemblies (PBA).
• Performs power analysis, filter analysis, EMI analysis, and electrical schematic design.
• Ensures compliance with electrical codes, standards, and DO-160 requirements.

Summary:

Designs and develops electrical systems and components for electric aircraft and eVTOL systems. Conducts feasibility studies and analyzes technical requirements. Ensures compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations. Leads and manages electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. Executes electrical circuit design team project tasks and completes assignments using electrical engineering methods. Generates Bill-of-Materials (BOMs) for Printed Board Assemblies (PBAs). Leverages circuit design, circuit simulation, and analysis knowledge. Troubleshoots and diagnoses problems or failures uncovered by circuit card tests. Prepares investigation and test results to document findings. Conducts requirements review, power analysis, filter analysis, electrical analysis, electrical schematic design, PBA layout, filter design, EMI filter design, DO-160, and lightning design.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or equivalent.
• Typically 12+ years working with circuit design integration and test experience.
• Experience with DOORS NG ELM for requirements review.
• Experience with electrical schematic design and PBA layout.
• Experience with filter analysis, filter design, and EMI filter design.
• Experiencewith poweranalysis and electricalanalysis.

• Analog circuit design experience and standard lab equipment including meters and probes.
