The ideal candidate will have a BSEE (PE preferred), 10+ years in industrial electrical projects, and experience with PLC/HMI/DCS integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; PE license preferred.
  • 10+ years in industrial electrical installation and capital projects.
  • Experience with low/medium voltage, MCCs, switchgear.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and EH&S standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead capital project design, planning, and execution.
  • Draft specs for power distribution and protective relays.
  • Coordinate with automation teams for PLC/HMI/DCS integration.
  • Manage vendor bids and project schedules.

Arrowhead Talent Solutions is assisting a long-standing global manufacturer with a search for their next Sr. Electrical Engineer. This is an individual contributor role that will that will play a critical role in managing and executing large capital projects. Position Summar

yReporting directly to the Project Manager, the Sr. Electrical Engineer will drive the strategy, execution, and oversight of major capital projects at our primary industrial manufacturing facility. This role focuses on advanced power distribution system design, implementation, and long-term asset reliability, alongside the seamless integration of industrial control systems to ensure optimal, safe, and efficient plant operations

  • esCapital Project Leadership: Spearhead the lifecycle—design, planning, and execution—of complex power distribution systems for high-value capital initiatives, ensuring strict adherence to electrical codes, safety benchmarks, and corporate objective
  • s.Project Execution: Serve as the technical lead for electrical initiatives. Scope out project boundaries, construct accurate cost estimates, establish timelines, and direct multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time, within-budget deliver
  • y.Power Distribution System Design: Design and draft specifications for low- and medium-voltage power distribution infrastructure, including transformers, switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), and protective relaying system
  • s.Controls & Automation Integration: Partner with automation engineers to bridge power distribution hardware and protective relays with PLCs, HMIs, DCSs, and SCADA infrastructure. Provide strategic technical guidance on electrical architecture as it intersects with control system
  • s.Technical Governance: Draft rigorous technical specifications, evaluate vendor proposals, and champion equipment selections that maximize operational safety, reliability, and ease of maintenanc
  • e.Commissioning & Field Support: Direct the on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical and control assets. Provide hands‑on, high‑level troubleshooting support to resolve complex field engineering bottleneck
  • s.Compliance & Standardization: Author and uphold plant-wide electrical design standards, Arc Flash studies, and safety procedures to guarantee regulatory compliance and operational consistenc
