Job summary

Superior Engineering - Ohio (J. R. Johnson Engineering, Inc.) is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience and a PE license in OH, IN, or IL.

The role requires leading project teams, performing complex calculations, and ensuring compliance with standards. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering, an MS is a plus, and proficiency with MS Office and electrical design tools like SKM or heat tracing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering a plus.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Electrical field.
• PE License in Indiana, Illinois or OH required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SKM or heat tracing software.

• Perform calculations and analysis when needed

• Ability to effectively lead a project team to ensure projects and/or project tasks are completed to client satisfaction on schedule and within approved budget.
• Strong technical writing skills, excellent verbal, and written communication skills
• Comply with all required standards

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree Electrical Engineering
• Master of Science Degree Electrical Engineering an added plus
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in Electrical
• Holds and Indiana, Illinois or OH PE License
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software, and software applications such as SKM or heat tracing
