Job summary

PeoplePilot is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for an onsite role in Addison, TX. You will design electrical schematics and PCB assemblies, perform layout, and review designs to ensure robust hardware development.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical engineering, hands-on PCB tools experience (Altium/OrCAD), and a strong grasp of analog/digital circuits, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC. Onsite work in Addison, TX is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering / Hardware Design.
• Strong experience in Schematic Capture and PCB Design.
• Hands-on experience with Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar PCB design tools.
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
• Experience with PCB layout, component selection, and circuit analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience with hardware testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC is preferred.
• Experience with embedded hardware/electronics is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.
• Must be available to work onsite in Addison, TX.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical schematics and PCB assemblies.

• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and other engineering teams.
• Support prototype development, testing, and production release.
• Identify design improvements and ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards.
