Job summary

INSPYR Solutions in Redmond, WA seeks a Digital Electrical Design Engineer to own end-to-end digital/high-speed PCB design, from schematic through SI analysis, layout collaboration, bring-up and validation.

The role involves designing multi-layer PCBs with processors, FPGAs, or SoCs, ensuring signal integrity and tight impedance constraints, and collaborating across hardware, firmware and manufacturing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Hands-on digital hardware design experience and ownership.
• Ability to read datasheets and reference manuals to implement specs.

Responsibilities

• Owns digital/high-speed PCB design end-to-end from schematic to validation.
• Lead design of multi-layer PCBs with processors/FPGA/SoC components.
• Ensure signal integrity and meet impedance constraints through routing.
• Lead lab bring-up, power-on sequencing and interface initialization.

Description

Summary

• Owns digital/high-speed electrical board design end-to-end, from schematic and interface definition through SI analysis, layout collaboration, bring-up, and validation.
• Designs complex multi-layer digital PCBs involving processors, FPGAs, or SoCs, including component selection, pin planning, and interface budgeting.
• Responsible for high-speed signal integrity, translating pre/post-layout analysis into routing and impedance constraints.
• Leads digital board bring-up and lab debugging, including power-on, clocking, interface initialization, and link validation.
• Works cross-functionally with layout, firmware, software, and manufacturing teams and drives root-cause analysis through structured testing.
• Requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent plus hands-on digital hardware design experience.
