Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design drawings for building systems, including one-line diagrams, load analysis, panel schedules, and product research.
• Specify electrical equipment such as switchboards, panels, transformers, and lighting controls.
• Provide guidance during construction by answering questions related to design.
• Communicate professionally with clients and other engineers.
• PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; graduate work preferred.
• 4-8 years of professional experience in MEP building systems.
• Pre-employment drug screening required; background checks may be conducted.

Performance Expectations

• Train backup personnel for your role.
• Comply with all policies and procedures.
• Ensure project compliance with ISO standards.
• Complete tasks on time and within budget, meeting scope requirements.
• Attend project meetings regularly.
• Conduct site visits and gather data as needed.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Review and approve shop drawings.
• Complete annual training programs.
