Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a senior EHSS professional to lead a multi-year safety improvement program in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will own EHSS programs from development through implementation and act as a visible culture change agent across locations.

The role focuses on compliance, permitting, reporting, audits, and corrective actions, with opportunities for growth toward EHSS Manager responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or another technical field.
• 7+ years of EHSS experience, preferably in manufacturing or fast-paced industrial environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and industrial hygiene requirements.
• Experience developing and implementing safety improvement programs.
• Ability to act as a safety culture change agent at all levels.
• Experience with audits, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and tracking.
• Strong critical thinking, organization, written and verbal communication, and teamwork.
• Environmental regulations knowledge; licenses or ability to obtain preferred.
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.

Job description

• Bachelor's degree in health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or another technical field.
• Seven or more years of relevant EHSS experience, preferably in a manufacturing or similarly fast-paced industrial environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA and industrial hygiene requirements.
• Demonstrated success developing and implementing safety improvement programs that produce sustainable changes in day-to-day behaviors and performance.
• Proven ability to serve as a safety culture change agent and positively influence employees and leaders at all levels without relying solely on policing or enforcement.
• Experience with audits, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and tracking actions through full completion.
• Strong critical thinking, organization, written and verbal communication, professional judgment, and ability to work successfully in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience with environmental regulations and permitting procedures preferred; an Industrial Class K Wastewater License and Certified Landfill Operator license, or the ability to obtain them, are also preferred.
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.

About the Role:

This is a senior individual-contributor role reporting to the EHSS Manager. This person will lead a multi-year safety improvement plan, own EHSS programs from development through implementation, and serve as a visible culture change agent across a fast-paced manufacturing organization. The role includes responsibility for compliance, permitting and reporting, policies and training, audits, root cause analysis, corrective actions, metrics, and regulatory support across multiple locations. There is also growth potential toward future EHSS Manager responsibilities or serving as a fill-in when needed.
