Job Description

Job Summary

EHR Application Analysts are the primary support for assigned non-clinical applications. They must be knowledgeable about the organization's policies, procedures, and business operations, and coordinate issues during installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades within their application area.

Essential Functions

1. Interact with co-workers, visitors, and staff, embodying the values of Jefferson.
2. Create content and documentation tools for system changes and tasks; contribute to training materials.
3. Conduct in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and technical issues related to applications.
4. Populate databases during initial system setup and assist with software upgrades.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

1. Understand application configuration options.
2. Develop and document procedures for system changes.
3. Act as liaison between end users, third parties, and vendors.
4. Troubleshoot user issues and questions.
5. Analyze application content and negotiate user-requested modifications.
