Central Transport LLC is seeking a Dispatch Supervisor to lead a team of 40+ CDL drivers, coordinating city pickup/delivery and linehaul/OTR operations.

You will relay critical information between drivers and vendors, review routes for efficiency, monitor workloads, and ensure safety and DOT/OSHA compliance while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience in transportation, cross docking, or shipping and receiving environment (preferably within the LTL industry).
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Desire to surround customer with excellence in service.
• High aptitude for technology.
• The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• An Associates or Bachelor's Degree, preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Dispatching a team of 40+ LTL based CDL truck drivers across city pickup/delivery and linehaul/OTR divisions.
• Relaying critical information between drivers and our vendors/Terminal Managers.
• Review and revise driver routes to increase efficiencies while monitoring a changing workload.
• Being aware of freight that is in transit.
• Assist and report issues that drivers face when they're on the road (i.e. flat tire).
• Ensure facility KPI goals are met and/or exceeded.
• Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards.
• Provide / support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers.

Shift: 1:00pm - 11:00pm, Monday - Friday Salary: Up to $78,000 + quarterly bonus LOCATION: 10301 S Harlem Ave, Chicago Ridge, IL 60415
