Responsibilities
Position Summary:
As our Sr Director Nursing Acute Care Services at California Hospital, you will be responsible for services including acute-care medical and surgical units, telemetry, and our nursing office.
You will direct the operations, work with Sr. Leadership on strategy and key initiatives, and collaborate with the Med/Surg Director, Tele Director, and other front-line leaders to ensure we maintain high standards of patient care in very fast-paced environments.
With our new Patient Tower recently opened, this is a very exciting time for you to join us!
California Hospital has just opened a new patient tower to invest in the future of healthcare in our community. Together, with your help, we can ensure that we become the hospital that our city needs us to be.
The biggest impact of this project will not be the physical building on our campus, but in how it opens new pathways to lift up the health of our community over the long term. The more efficient and inviting campus will allow us to serve as a hub and access point for a full range of services that extend beyond the traditional reach of a hospital.
By increasing our role to be “more than a hospital,” we can keep patients healthier so that they are less likely to need emergency health interventions. Programs like the Hope Street Margolis Family Center and Homeless Health Initiative show our comprehensive approach to deeply rooted inequities in health status. Working to level the playing field for future generations is part of our DNA and this project is essential to achieving our vision.
