Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Sr. Director, Integration Engineer to lead the enterprise integration strategy for a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

You will oversee architecture alignment, governance, scalability, and resilience while mentoring senior engineers across multiple teams. In collaboration with senior technology and business leaders, you will identify modernization opportunities, drive robust API and integration solutions, and foster a high‑performing, innovative engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 12+ years of experience in a cloud-based environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• 7+ years of people management experience in engineering settings.
• 8+ years leading integration or automation programs across multiple business units.
• 6+ years developing and executing enterprise-level integration strategies.
• 5+ years managing senior technical leaders or directors in engineering or integration disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners to define application capabilities and testing scenarios
• Continuously enhance software engineering practices
• Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across the full stack
• Lead the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director, Integration Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This leader will oversee enterprise integration strategy and guide the development of robust technical solutions that connect critical applications across the organization. The role is focused on aligning architecture and business priorities while strengthening governance, scalability, and resilience. You will partner closely with senior technology and business leaders to identify modernization opportunities and advance engineering practices across multiple teams. This position also calls for mentoring technical leaders and fostering innovation within a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $245,100 – $279,800 annually
