Job summary

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of Strategic Funding or related experience.
  • Prior experience securing external funding for infrastructure or private sector projects.
  • Experience in a managerial or leadership role is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, or business management, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Utilizes advanced understanding of state and federal funding sources and agency relationships.
  • Identifies optimal funding strategies by understanding client project scopes.
  • Completes applications and documentation to secure funding per requirements.
  • Directs teams to perform tasks related to infrastructure funding applications.
  • Builds partnerships with CSMs and CSTs.
  • Develops relationships with key individuals within client organizations.
  • Creates guidelines and processes for strategic funding.

Job description

The Infrastructure Funding role guides clients and members of the funding team through the grant acquisition processes and ensures external funding is secured in support of client capital initiatives. This role is self-directed and responsible for advancing funding programs with little oversight. This role is responsible for relationship building with clients and achieving strong partnerships with the Client Service Manager (CSM) and Client Service Team (CST). The Infrastructure Funding role develops client relationships with key clients and guides and supports the team of practitioners to securing funding for key projects. The role will collaborate with senior management and external partners to support growth and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Utilizes advanced understanding of various state and federal funding sources and programs, including relationships with key members of state and federal funding agencies.
  • Seeks to understand the scope of client projects to identify the best strategy for securing funding
  • Completes applications and documentation to securing funding, based on application requirements.\
  • Directs others to complete tasks and assignments associated with the application and securing of infrastructure funding options.
  • Develops key partnerships with CSMs and CSTs
  • Develops unique and personal relationships with key individuals within client organizations.
  • Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.

Salary Range:

The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and maybemore or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A: $159,000 - $238,000

Location B: $175,000 - $262,000

Location C: $191,000 - $285,000
