Job summary

Brown and Caldwell in the United States seeks a Director, Infrastructure Funding who leads funding processes to secure grants and external funding for capital projects for clients. The role is self-directed with minimal supervision and advances funding programs with oversight from senior leadership.

Responsibilities include leveraging state and federal funding sources, guiding the team through applications, mentoring less experienced staff, and delivering strategic market insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, business management, or related field.
• At least 15 years of strategic funding or related experience.
• Experience with federal and state funding programs.
• Knowledge of municipal finance principles.
• Ability to provide strategic market insights.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.

Job description

The Director, Infrastructure Funding role leads funding processes to secure grants and external funding for capital projects for clients. Work is performed with little or no supervision. This role is self-directed and advances funding programs with little oversight from senior funding group leadership.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes advanced understanding of various state and federal funding sources and programs, including relationships with keymembers of state and federal funding agencies.
• Utilizesin-depthunderstandingthe scope of client projects to identifyand recommend thebest strategyto ensure funding is secured.
• Leadscompletion process forapplications and documentation to securing funding, based on application requirements.
• Leads funding teamto complete tasks and assignments associated with the application and securing of infrastructure funding options.
• Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs.
• Providementorship, guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to help less experienced team members develop their skills and grow within their roles.

Salary Range:Theanticipatedstarting payrange for this position is based on the employee’s primary work location and maybemore or lessdependingupon skills, experience,and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A: $117,000 - $159,000
Location B: $128,000 - $175,000
Location C: $140,000 - $191,000
