Ladders, in partnership with a leading Pharmaceuticals & Biotech client, seeks a Sr. Director, General Manager, Purification to drive growth, profitability, and long-range portfolio direction from Bedford, MA.

This commercially minded operator will align innovation, product development, and market strategy across a global business, collaborating with R&D, business development, customers, and thought leaders.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience in a relevant field or a bachelor’s degree with 8+ years.
• 5+ years of general management experience with P&L responsibility.
• Demonstrated success managing business segments over $325M.
• Experience developing and executing business strategies.
• Strong analytical skills for market analysis and forecasting.
• Proven ability to lead global cross-functional teams.

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Director, General Manager, Purification to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This leader will own a strategic business segment with responsibility for growth, profitability, and long-range portfolio direction. The role calls for a commercially minded operator who can align innovation, product development, and market strategy across a global business. It will also require close partnership with R&D, business development, customers, and external thought leaders to shape the segment’s future.

Location: Bedford, MA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $212,000 – $305,000 annually

• Lead the strategic business segment within the BioProduction group
• Develop global portfolio strategies and define innovation roadmaps
