Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Vice President of Manufacturing in Andover, MA to lead manufacturing strategy and scale operations for a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech leader. This role partners with quality, operations, engineering, and cross-functional teams to build a disciplined, data-driven manufacturing environment and guide new facilities for next-generation products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years of progressive manufacturing and operations leadership experience.
• Strong background in medical device or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Proven success in transforming and scaling manufacturing operations.
• Experience building and launching new manufacturing facilities.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong understanding of FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and Quality Management Systems.

• Lead and enhance the manufacturing operation with focus on SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President, Manufacturing to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This leader will oversee manufacturing operations with a focus on scaling capacity, strengthening execution, and supporting growth across current and future product lines. The role will partner closely with quality, operations, engineering, and cross-functional teams to build a disciplined, data-driven manufacturing environment. This leader will also guide the development of new facilities and the manufacturing model needed to support next-generation products.

Location: Andover, MA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $209,100 – $327,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance the manufacturing operation, focusing on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC)
• Drive transformative initiatives to support growth in existing operations
• Establish a world-class manufacturing operating system with standardized processes
• Champion continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational performance
• Utilize operational data and metrics for improved visibility and accountability
• Develop and implement a manufacturing technology roadmap for automation and efficiency
• Oversee new facility build-out and manufacturing model for next-generation products
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to ensure product manufacturability and readiness for scale
