About the Role

ATHLETA’s digital transformation and growth division is responsible for our end-to-end consumer experience transformation and business operations that define our go-to-market (GTM) execution. We aim to design every touchpoint to serve her everyday life and empower our consumers to feel seen. As part of this initiative, we are transforming our organization, capabilities, and operational processes to effectively plan and deliver on our strategic commercial priorities. Our goal is to execute and operate at the speed of social culture, which requires new capabilities, ways of working, and experiences to power a social-first digital organization and consumer experience. We seek a leader with a demonstrated track record of team leadership, business results, balanced e-commerce strategy, operational expertise, digital product acumen, and cross-functional leadership across the enterprise to realize our next-generation digital experiences. You have likely worked in both start-up/entrepreneurial environments and large organizations, gaining firsthand knowledge of building features and capabilities as well as working cross-functionally in scaled organizations. You will need to understand the big picture business opportunities, possess in-depth knowledge of high-growth, next-gen consumer experiences, and have a strong command of data and financials to drive optimal outcomes aligned with the Digital Organization’s strategic initiatives.

This role will focus on leading our digital transformation and growth initiatives through the evolution of our consumer experience, digital operations, and app expansion to accelerate the future of ATHLETA. Our leader must have a solid understanding of business and user needs, data, technology development, operational rigor, and emerging consumer expectations to enable value delivery at scale with speed. Leveraging data-driven insights and user-centric approaches, you will propel the business forward, ensuring agility, competitiveness, and transformative growth in the ever-evolving digital landscape while unlocking speed to value.

What You'll Do
  1. Lead and manage a team of Digital Operators and Product Managers to achieve ATHLETA Digital’s strategic priorities.
  2. Partner with our Central Technology Organization to define digital capabilities, business cases, KPIs, and roadmap prioritization to deliver the next-generation consumer experience.
  3. Work closely with business and technology leaders and stakeholders to drive strategic alignment and achieve business goals.
  4. Drive effort and impact prioritization, ensuring consistent and flawless execution through problem solving, user testing, and capabilities development.
  5. Assess and manage the digital capabilities landscape, maturity, and emerging technologies.
  6. Create reporting frameworks to capture program performance and enable channel optimizations.
  7. Analyze, present, and communicate program and channel performance to leadership effectively.
  8. Lead the end-to-end operations of the Mobile App business to accelerate growth with high-value members by driving downloads and monthly active users (MAU).
  9. Build financial models to forecast and manage investments to meet revenue and profitability goals.
  10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Loyalty, CRM, sales operations, demand planning, finance, brand, and marketing, to align on initiatives and strategies.
  11. Partner with CRM to leverage customer insights and segmentation, optimizing mobile strategies based on data-driven learnings.
  12. Coordinate with marketing teams to execute brand campaigns in-app, increasing downloads, session frequency, conversions, and brand awareness.
  13. Develop and implement change management strategies for new initiatives, processes, and cultural shifts across teams.
  14. Partner with Retail teams to integrate new features and functionalities to enhance download strategies.
  15. Explore third-party marketplace expansion and new distribution points for growth.
  16. Create a Performance Marketing plan in collaboration with Marketing Services to shape download strategies, investments, and manage CAC:LTV outcomes.
  17. Conduct strategic planning and business reviews periodically.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, or relevant experience and training.
  • 10+ years leading digital capabilities management or product management, focusing on data, product development, and business operations.
  • 5+ years leading successful complex digital transformation programs involving cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Passionate about staying current on consumer experiences and next-gen commerce trends.
  • 5+ years leading digital operations teams and transforming ways of working, leveraging modern tools and AI workflows (a plus).
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent team leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Bias towards action and a progress-over-perfection mindset.
  • Expertise in design thinking, test-and-learn methodologies, and iterative operating models.
