Job summary

Panera LLC in Saint Louis is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure enabling rapid software delivery. You will mentor engineers and promote DevOps best practices across the org.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, automation strategies, and software delivery best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or similar technologies.
• Software development experience with the ability to quickly learn and adopt new programming languages and frameworks.
• Experience developing or scripting with one or more of the following: Python, Groovy, Ruby, Java, Node.js.
• Strong experience with Git-based source control platforms, including GitLab and/or GitHub.
• Experience managing artifact repositories such as Artifactory.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and working familiarity with Windows environments.
• Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience supporting workloads in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines that enable secure, efficient, and repeatable application and infrastructure deployments.

• Partner with development teams to implement source control best practices, branching strategies, and DevOps methodologies.
