Job summary

AssureSoft seeks a senior DevOps/SRE to design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure and container platforms. You will engineer automation with Terraform, manage EKS clusters, and implement GitOps with ArgoCD, while shaping CI/CD pipelines and observability across the environment.

You will collaborate with engineering to ensure reliable delivery, security, and performance, applying best practices in networking, IAM, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

Senior DevOps/SRE experience in a cloud-first environment.
Strong hands-on AWS and cloud-architecture skills.
Proficient in Terraform for provisioning and automation.
Hands-on Kubernetes and EKS administration and operations.
Experience implementing GitOps with ArgoCD.
Proven ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with OpenSearch for logging and troubleshooting.
Proficient in Grafana for monitoring and alerting.
Relational DB admin with PostgreSQL and MySQL; RDS a plus.
Linux scripting (Bash, Python) and Docker containerization.
Familiarity with Git workflows and collaboration in teams.
Knowledge of security, networking, IAM, and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure.

Troubleshoot and resolve infra, deployment, and prod issues; optimize performance and cost.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, maintain, and optimize scalable, secure, and reliable AWS infrastructure.
Develop and manage infrastructure provisioning and automation using Terraform.
Deploy, configure, and maintain containerized applications and Kubernetes clusters using Amazon EKS.
Implement and manage GitOps deployment workflows using ArgoCD.
Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for application delivery and infrastructure management.
Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using Grafana and OpenSearch.
Deploy, configure, monitor, and optimize relational databases using Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and engineering teams to ensure reliable application delivery and infrastructure operations.
Contribute to technical discussions, infrastructure architecture design, code reviews, estimation, and planning.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues; identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
Apply security, availability, scalability, and disaster recovery best practices.
Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented infrastructure configurations and automation scripts.
Identify improvements in system performance, reliability, automation, and cloud cost efficiency.

Requirements

Senior-level professional experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure architecture.
Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, automation, and management.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS for container orchestration and cluster management.
Experience implementing and managing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD.
Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with OpenSearch for centralized logging, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
Experience using Grafana for infrastructure monitoring, observability, and alerting.
Strong experience with Amazon RDS and relational database administration, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL.
Solid understanding of networking, security, IAM, load balancing, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
Experience with Docker and containerized application environments.
Experience implementing infrastructure monitoring, incident response, and troubleshooting processes.
Familiarity with Git, version control workflows, and collaborative development practices.
Experience applying infrastructure automation, security, and reliability best practices.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively, and take ownership of assigned deliverables.
Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development and infrastructure automation tools.

Nice to Have

Experience with additional AWS services (Lambda, CloudFront, Route 53, CloudWatch), infrastructure security scanning, and DevSecOps; knowledge of high-availability architectures, infrastructure cost optimization, and database backup, replication, and disaster recovery strategies.
Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
