SimpliSafe, a high‑tech home security company, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure development and support the application lifecycle framework. The role combines IaC with modern DevOps practices in a hybrid work setting.

You will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud solutions, emphasizing automation, monitoring, and secure, reliable operations across our services. Collaboration with product teams and adherence to agile processes are essential.

Role Summary

Senior DevOps Engineer – responsible for developing and supporting our cloud infrastructure and application lifecycle framework.

Technical Stack

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, Route53, Lambda)
• DevOps tools: Terraform/Open Tofu, GitHub, Docker, Grafana

Qualifications

• Proven track record with IaC and automating cloud solutions
• Expertise in designing and automating software builds and deployments
• Experience with logs, monitoring, and alerting
• Solid understanding of HTTP and REST APIs
• Excellent communication and team‑player skills, able to work independently
• Security‑conscious
• Passion for building new things, with recognition that maintenance is half the battle
• Experience in an agile environment on an agile team
• Containerized, micro‑services experience is a plus

The target annual base pay range for this role is $114,700 to $152,900. Beyond base pay, we offer a total rewards package that may include a bonus program, equity, and other forms of compensation, along with full medical, retirement, and lifestyle benefits.
