Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr I Developer - UKG Pro Workforce Management Solutions. The Senior I Workforce Management Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting integrations and application enhancements for the organization's Time & Attendance and HR systems, primarily leveraging UKG Pro and Boomi. This role works closely with HR, Payroll, Operations, and configuration specialists to understand time, pay, and accrual requirements and translate them into technical solutions, data flows, and system changes. The position participates in the full systems development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support, and collaborates with other developers to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead Development and Administration: Contribute to the development, configuration, and day‑to‑day administration of Workforce Management and Time & Attendance applications, ensuring they meet evolving business needs and align with IT strategies. Support and maintain integrations and related application components in partnership with other developers and technical staff.
- Architecture and Design: Participate in component and data architecture design, focusing on performance monitoring, product evaluation, and making informed recommendations on buy versus build decisions.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical subject matter expert, contributing to improvements in strategy, process, technical architecture, and design. Ensure solutions are innovative and efficient.
- Business Collaboration: Work closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions that are robust, scalable, and align with MCIT's architectural standards.
- Lifecycle Management: Engage in the full systems lifecycle management, including designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting application software.
- Innovation and Improvement: Contribute to the development, configuration, and day‑to‑day administration of Workforce Management and Time & Attendance applications, ensuring they meet evolving business needs and align with IT strategies. Support and maintain integrations and related application components in partnership with other developers and technical staff.
- Mentorship: Mentor less‑experienced staff, taking responsibility for their technical development and fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team.
- Leadership in Design: Lead design sessions, presenting logical statements of business problems and designs, incorporating innovative ideas, and ensuring broad implications are considered for system integration across technical platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in UKG Pro and Boomi technologies.
- Provide support to end users of the UKG Pro WFM system by diagnosing, resolving, and documenting application errors.
- Assist with assessing upcoming UKG Pro WFM releases for enhancement and new functionality. Assist in the testing, deployment, and stabilization of these releases.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience in leading the development and management of Time and Attendance applications or similar systems.
- 3-5 years experience as a Developer with UKG Pro Workforce Management, with 1-3 years experience as a Developer with UKG WFC WIM.
- Certification in Boomi and UKG Pro.
- Proficiency in Boomi AtomSphere, including building and managing integrations.
- Strong knowledge of UKG WFC and UKG Pro workforce functionality and configuration.
- Experience with cloud application functionality and architecture.
- Proficiency in programming languages and tools relevant to UKG Pro, Boomi and Java.
- Experience with data mapping, transformation, and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of various data formats (XML, JSON, CSV) and protocols (REST).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of data architecture, system design, and IT strategies.
- Experience with full systems lifecycle management, including coding, testing, and implementation.
- Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HR processes and systems.
- Familiarity with other HRIS systems and integrations.

Salary Transparency
The salary range for the role is $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
