Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced software engineer specializing in Adobe Experience Manager to join our team. The role focuses on building and extending AEM components, templates, workflows, and content fragments within the cloud service environment.

You will work with Java, Sling Models, OSGi, JCR, and RESTful APIs, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and performance tuning in AEMaaCS. Strong collaboration and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on AEM development.
• Strong experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
• Expertise developing AEM components, templates, workflows, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Sling Models, OSGi Services, Servlets, JCR, and Apache Sling.
• Experience implementing RESTful API integrations and enterprise application connectivity.
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Cloud Manager, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and deployment automation.
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting AEM author, publish, and dispatcher environments.
• Understanding of AEM security, caching strategies, and performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and collaborative software delivery practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
