Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced AEM as a Cloud Service Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable AEM solutions for enterprise digital experiences. You will work on components, templates, workflows, and integrations using HTL, Java, Sling Models, and OSGi in a cloud-native setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development with 3+ years in AEM development.
• Strong hands-on experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
• Expertise building AEM components, templates, workflows, and fragments.
• Proficiency in Java, Sling Models, OSGi, Servlets, JCR, and Sling.
• Experience with HTL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Experience with RESTful API integrations and enterprise connectivity.
• CI/CD, Git, deployment automation, and Cloud Manager knowledge.
• Experience supporting AEM author/publish/dispatcher environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and services using HTL, Java, Sling Models, and OSGi.
• Build responsive, accessible UIs leveraging AEM Core Components and modern frontend tech.
• Create Content Fragments and Experience Fragments for omnichannel delivery.
• Integrate AEM with enterprise systems via REST, GraphQL, and Adobe I/O.
• Configure and support AEMaaCS environments, including Cloud Manager pipelines.
• Collaborate with UX, translate requirements into scalable AEM solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, enforce security and cloud-native best practices.
• Assist AEM migrations and upgrades to AEM as a Cloud Service.
• Troubleshoot author/publish/dispatcher issues, optimize performance, and deployments.
• Document designs and approaches to support ongoing platform evolution.
