Job summary

Primary Talent Partners is seeking a Sr Design Quality Engineer for a 9-month contract in Minneapolis, MN. The position offers $50.00–$60.00/hr on a W2 basis with no PTO, no benefits, and an ACA-compliant supplemental package available.

You will develop and maintain quality standards, collaborate with engineering and manufacturing, and design inspection and testing methods. Requires advanced knowledge and a university degree with 4+ years of experience.

Qualifications

  • Requires advanced knowledge of quality engineering combining education and experience.
  • May have practical knowledge of project management.
  • University degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience (or advanced degree with 2 years of relevant experience).

Responsibilities

  • Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality standards and protocol for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
  • Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.
  • Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.
  • Designs or specifies inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements.
  • May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Sr Design Quality Engineer with our medical device client in Minneapolis, MN. This is a 9-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay

$50.00 - $60.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a University Degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
