Responsibilities:

1. Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care
2. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment
3. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care
4. Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring smooth workflow
5. Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
6. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately

Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of previous dental assisting experience
2. Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
3. Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor
4. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
5. Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus

Requirements:

Before applying, it is imperative that you meet the state requirements outlined below.

• Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X-rays).
• Georgia: CPR Certification, Dental Assistant certification EDDA preferred, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays.
• Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements must be completed per state regulations.
• Michigan: Evidence of X-ray training certification required upon hiring; if not available, an 8-week period to submit it.
• New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training.
• New York: Not applicable.
• Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X-rays).
• Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE certification.
