As a Senior Data Governance Analyst, you will influence and educate broad business and technology functions on the importance of adopting good data governance practices and implement & manage data governance tools, frameworks, and processes that enable them to do so effectively.

What you'll be doing

1. Partner with stakeholders throughout the organization to influence and drive a data governance culture & meet our regulatory commitments regarding the management of sensitive data.
2. Define, build & manage effective frameworks, procedures, and workflows that enable business data stewards to adopt and implement data governance policies.
3. Build and manage data catalogs, lineage, and quality monitoring services that promote data democratization, literacy, and trust.
4. Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, user acceptance, training, and adoption of data governance tools, frameworks, and procedures.
5. Build, monitor, and report on scorecards regarding user adoption and application of data governance policies.
6. Contribute to developing data stewardship models and best practices.
7. Support VP of Data Governance in managing councils, working groups, and committees, including agenda planning, attendance coordination, decision capturing, and tracking work assignments.

What you will need to be successful

• 5+ years of experience designing, delivering, and managing data governance frameworks and procedures.
• Strong understanding of RACI models for designing frameworks, procedures, and workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with business and technology partners.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview, Monte Carlo, or comparable data governance tools.
• Knowledge of EDM Council Cloud Data Management Capabilities Assessment (CDMC).
• Working knowledge of DAMA Data Management Body of Knowledge (DMBOK).
• Experience implementing data governance in SaaS architectures.
• Experience in Healthcare or Financial Services organizations.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, data management, computer science, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Certifications:

• DAMA CDMP Associate or higher
• Microsoft Security Operations Analyst Associate

Salary Range

$104,500 - $130,000 per year
