Job Responsibilities
  • Understand business processes and their modeling in various systems.
  • Collaborate with business users, technology teams, and executives to understand data needs and develop solutions.
  • Design and implement data structures, workflows, and integrations between platforms.
  • Develop scalable data pipelines and build API integrations for increasing data volume and complexity.
  • Establish best practices for data integration and engineering, shaping our data infrastructure's future.
  • Optimize performance of databases, queries, tools, and solutions.
  • Create and maintain data warehouses, databases, tables, SQL queries, and ingestion pipelines for reports, dashboards, and models.
  • Write complex queries to transform raw data into accessible models.
  • Prepare data for predictive and prescriptive analytics.
  • Identify data patterns and improve data quality, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Work with analytics and data science teams to automate analysis and visualization processes.
  • Document technical designs and produce performance reports and strategic proposals.
  • Collaborate across departments and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience with SQL, schema design, data modeling, and processing systems, including 2-3 years with Scala.
  • Proficiency with analytics tools and languages such as Python, Java, etc.
  • Experience with SQL, Spark, BigQuery, and NoSQL databases like Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra.
  • Big Data development experience with Hive, Impala, Spark, and familiarity with Kafka.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in data issues and pipeline analysis.
  • Experience with data governance, security, and moving pipelines into production.
  • Knowledge of data infrastructure for extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, DevOps, and DataOps principles.
  • Exposure to machine learning, data science, AI, and statistics.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • High school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $120K - $140K, with health insurance, 401k, bonus, and other benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid parental leave, and more.
