Job summary

Sycamore Staffing Partners seeks a Senior D365 Accounts Payable Functional Analyst to lead the configuration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the AP module within D365 F&O. The ideal candidate has deep AP expertise, strong process controls, and experience implementing ExFlow for AP automation.

You will translate business requirements into scalable configurations, validate changes, support month-end close, and drive adoption across finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize D365 AP functionality across vendor management, invoice processing, approvals, and payment operations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable system configurations that support end-to-end AP processes.
• Implement, configure, and optimize ExFlow to automate invoice processing, approval workflows, matching, exception handling, and payment processes.
• Ensure alignment between Accounts Payable and the General Ledger by supporting financial posting structures, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
• Identify process gaps and implement system-driven solutions that improve efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and increase automation.
• Lead system validation, user acceptance testing, and user adoption efforts for new configurations and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot functional issues, analyze root causes, and implement long-term solutions.

The Senior D365 Accounts Payable Functional Analyst is responsible for the configuration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the Accounts Payable module within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) ecosystem. To be considered for this role you must possess deep functional expertise within the D365 F&O ecosystem and AP module, understand how AP impacts the broader financial ecosystem, and have the ability to deliver scalable solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and financial controls. The ideal candidate for this role will also possess extensive experience with ExFlow implementation for AP automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and optimize D365 AP functionality across vendor management, invoice processing, approvals, and payment operations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable system configurations that support end-to-end AP processes.
• Implement, configure, and optimize ExFlow to automate invoice processing, approval workflows, matching, exception handling, and payment processes.
