Job summary

Hensley Beverage Company seeks a Sr SSM Crew Lead to manage assigned team members, review accounts, and ensure standards. The role covers vacations, conducts ride-alongs, and reports to Team Leaders. Primarily Monday-Friday with weekend/holiday coverage expected.

Responsibilities include training Tier I/II SSMs, coaching for performance, and ensuring safety and process compliance across displays and pricing. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
• Must have a cell phone with data capability; company provides cell phone allowance.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned SSM team members and cover vacations.
• Greet customers, discuss shelves and displays; prefill and build displays for weekly ad set-up.
• Conduct training for Tier I & II SSMs.
• Provide SSM assessments to Team Lead and develop plans to increase performance.
• Ride-with and evaluate employees; document findings and communicate results.
• Ensure safety protocols and processes are followed; suggest improvements to performance.
• Check shelf and display pricing and report findings to leadership.
• Complete daily staff and account reports and review with Team Lead.
• Perform ride-along evaluations and participate in performance reviews.
• Complete surveys that are assigned daily.

Position Summary:

The position is responsible for leading assigned SSM team members as well as covering vacations. The Sr SSM Crew Lead will also review and evaluate accounts, ensuring standards are being met and processes followed. The position will also be responsible to do ride-with and evaluations of team members. The Merchandising Crew Lead will report directly to Team Leaders . This position has a primary work schedule of Monday-Friday . Must be able to work Weekends and Holidays as well.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Works with assigned SSM team members to call on accounts; greet customers, discuss shelves and displays; prefill and build displays for weekly ad set-up.
• Conducts training for Tier I & Tier II SSMs.
• Provides SSM assessments to Team Lead and develop ment plans to increase performance.
• Acts as a bridge to gap classroom training program and real-world execution. Tasks include, but not limited to: New hire ride along, Gap assessments and developing plans to improve Merchandiser efficiency and performance.
• Cover vacations scheduled for SSM Crew Leads assigned to their team in an efficient manner.
• Ensures all safety protocol and job processes are being followed as well as make suggestions to Team Leads to improve performance. Includes Code dates, Rotation, back stock organization, internal and external communication are met.
• Checks and monitors Hensley Beverage and competitive shelf and display pricing and reporting findings to appropriate leadership .
• Completes daily staff and account reports, reviewing with Team Lead at the end of each day.
• Performs ride with evaluations and follow up performance reviews. Makes critical decisions pertaining to their team member's productivity/performance.
• Documents and captures the above information on appropriate Hensley forms. Notes any concerns needing to be addressed with the assigned employees and communicates back to Team Leader upon finishing each day.
• Completes all Surveys that are assigned on a daily basis .
