Sr. Manager, Producer – Studio Team
Our Sr. Manager, Producer is a critical part of telling our story to the world. They drive the execution of our brand and product storytelling for our website, social media, text, and email, as well as create all the content that our customers see in paid media, including video and TV. They will collaboratively create video and photography in our studio and on location, partnering with external and internal teams to bring innovative stories to life across every marketing channel.
They will be the face of the studio team, collaborating with marketing operations, creative, marketing, agencies, freelancers, and business leads to create compelling video and photo content. They are the primary coordinator and driver of all production, including managing studio production staff, freelancers, and budgets to achieve the best possible output. The Sr. Manager, Producer functions as the key point person for tracking budgets and delivery timelines, ensuring both are met while maintaining high standards. This person will serve as the hub for all project information and status updates between strategy, content, marketing, operations, and the photo studio team. They will demonstrate high efficiency and effectiveness in driving results and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
WHAT YOU DO:
- Creates, improves, and manages systems and processes for content production, from concept approval through delivery of assets.
- Develops and maintains resource plans for photo shoots within budget and scope.
- Owns and manages the studio and content budget, including invoicing, billing, tracking, and reporting.
- Determines photo studio and shoot schedules, collaborating with partners to meet deadlines.
- Leads production with agencies and external resources for larger projects, including location, video, and television production.
- Collaborates with the creative team to create timelines and workflows that allow for creative exploration within budget and timelines.
- Develops and maintains a network of photography resources to supplement the in-house studio.
- Directs the team to adapt to brand needs, continuously improving efficiency and quality.
- Owns the timeline, workflow, and delivery of assets between the studio, creative, and strategy teams.
- Partners with marketing operations to ensure smooth information flow for delivery timelines.
- Negotiates and maintains usage rights for assets and talent, ensuring compliance.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to share information and requirements.
- Creates and maintains a budget for the photo studio and tracks expenses, interfacing with finance.
- Alerts teams to scope outside budget and problem-solves solutions.
- Identifies and implements process efficiencies and organization improvements.
- Manages dependencies, conflicts, risks, and delays to minimize disruptions.
- Maintains leadership presence for direct reports and cross-functional partners.
- Manages 1 or more direct reports and supervises 10-20 freelance resources.
- Manages external agencies and production houses as needed.
- Maintains effective communication with internal teams and develops communication strategies.
- Effectively communicates project information to teams and stakeholders.
- Leads as the voice of the studio to leadership on budget and workload.
- Manages daily timeline and budget communications across teams.
- Updates weekly status documents and hot sheets to keep projects on track.
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with Workfront or similar software is highly desired.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks independently or in a team.

- Experience in photo/video production, preferably 8-10 years, in agency, studio, or production house environments.
- 4-5 years of producer or project management experience.
- Familiarity with industry standards and rates for project budgeting and bidding.
- Ability to work on set/location and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Strong communication skills at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership with direct reports and external partners.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and pay close attention to detail.
