Job Summary:

1. Assist in developing and implementing requirements for cost recording, reporting, and analyzing standards, programs, and reports.
2. Assist in preparing cost data for projects, proposals, and contract negotiations.
3. Manage scope change processes.
4. Define scope requirements for a discipline or specialty, coordinating with Engineering and other sources to produce data conforming to the overall estimate plan.
5. Develop quantity takeoffs for a discipline or specialty using defined documents or assumptions, and verify quantities provided by others.
6. Apply unit rates (cost and job hours) to quantity takeoffs within a discipline or specialty.
7. Prepare specific budgets following prescribed standards and procedures.
8. Coordinate and prepare cost reports.
9. Collect and classify cost engineering data.
10. Perform data analysis and development.
11. Perform additional duties as directed by the Project Manager or Supervisor.
12. Candidate must be a US Citizen.
13. Have knowledge of capital and services costs.
14. Understand scope change management.
15. Possess intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and startup processes.
16. Be proficient in using multiple discipline-specific software applications.
17. Demonstrate skill in identifying, analyzing, and solving cost problems innovatively.
18. Have knowledge of financial reporting systems, controller account codes, and project control instructions affecting Project Financial Status Reports and Revenue Data.
19. Hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with 7-10 years of relevant industry experience.
20. Be skilled in using computers and basic software such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
21. Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
22. Exhibit leadership and organizational skills.
23. Cost engineering or project management certification is preferred; if not current, eligibility to attain within one year is required.
24. Be willing to travel occasionally to Wiesbaden, Germany.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:

1. Work is typically performed in a remote office environment.
2. May involve sitting and standing for prolonged periods.
3. May involve walking and climbing on construction sites.
4. Occasional travel to Wiesbaden, Germany.
